HYPERLAPSE Construction Videos – originally NBXD – was established in 2013 as a specialized video production company. Given the growth of the real estate sector in Portugal and worldwide, the importance of stakeholders’ and target audiences’ impact, as well as the challenges of construction monitoring, our focus has been on timelapse footage, mainly for the construction segment. HYPERLAPSE’s mission has been, for over 10 years, to meet developers’, builders’ and investors’ needs in terms of monitoring and promotion, employing video as the central asset. 2023 represents another milestone in HYPERLAPSE’s activity with the launch of Reality Capture services for the construction ecosystem, such as photogrammetry solutions and on-site 360º captures, that provide monitoring and real-time updates of construction projects, shared through secure cloud collaborative platforms. Graduated in Business Management from ISCTE University of Lisbon, Postgraduated in Air Transport Operations and completed the MBA in Aeronautical Management from ISEC. Tiago’s passion for technology, creativity and video led him to create NBXD Video production in 2013 and then HYPERLAPSE. Tiago is the mind ahead of innovation, he is also UAS Accountable Manager for drone operations.
Afonso Costa Pereira
Managing Partner, Operations, Drone Pilot
Aircraft commander and passionate about both air and video. In 2015 joined Tiago Garrido as his partner, which led to the creation of HYPERLAPSE. Video drone pilot and audiovisual producer, Afonso is also a Managing Partner and a specialist in field operations.
Cristina Benito
Marketing & Communication
Graduated in Communication Design from Fine Arts University of Lisbon, Cristina is a Senior project manager for the firm’s image, design, communication, marketing and events area, with a track record in reference companies in Portugal such as Havas, Portugal Telecom, Lift and, in real estate, Worx. Cristina has been with NBXD since its creation and is now fully dedicated to HYPERLAPSE’s marketing & communication strategy.
Frederico Pontes
Head of Content, Production Director
Bachelor degree in Marketing and video production, Frederico is a Producer with more than 20 years of expertise, with a track record in generalist and cable TV channels. Passionate about new technologies passionate, Frederico is always seeking for new solutions to fulfil the market needs. As HYPERLAPSE’s Head of Content and Production Director he coordinates all production processes and resources from the first day, until the final delivery.
João Abecasis
Head of Operations
Producer/Director with a solid knowledge of more than 15 years in documentary, TV broadcast content and institutional filmmaking. Specialist on multiple techniques including time lapse imagery, drone operation, and video editing. Manages the field operations team and has been collaborating with HYPERLAPSE since 2021.

Operations and Drone Pilot
Video drone pilot and audiovisual producer, Osvaldo is responsible for field operations in team in Porto and the north of Portugal.
Walter Carreira
Timelapse and Video Specialist
Video specialist with a solid knowledge in video capturing using different cameras, drones and image or audio editing. Working in the field and editing film projects, he is the youngest member at HYPERLAPSE.
