The project, worth approximately 233 million euros, includes new boarding gates, operational improvements, and ambitious environmental goals for Lisbon Airport that Hyperlapse will document.
Work is currently underway as part of the operational improvement plan for Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon, with interventions that began in early 2025. This large-scale operation, promoted by ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal | VINCI Airports, is managed, coordinated, and supervised by Engexpor, which ensures compliance with rigorous quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
The construction work is being carried out by a consortium composed of four construction companies: Mota-Engil, Vinci Construction Grands Projets, Alves Ribeiro, and HCI, and the audiovisual documentation of the improvement of the country’s most important airport infrastructure will be done by Hyperlapse Construction videos & Reality Capture with long-duration timelapse, monitoring, and video production that will document, showcase, and communicate the project’s progress.
With an investment exceeding 233 million euros, the project aims to optimize the passenger experience, increase operational efficiency, and strengthen the environmental performance of the country’s main airport infrastructure. Notable planned interventions include the construction of the new South Pier, with approximately 33,000 m2, the renovation of the Central Pier and the South Busgate area, as well as the installation of ten new boarding bridges, which will reduce the need for bus transportation and provide more direct and comfortable boarding.
Hyperlapse is Portugal’s leading company in construction timelapse for investors, developers, and builders, with over 12 years of experience documenting the country’s largest landmark projects, combining technology, innovation, and a specialized technical team in long-duration construction documentation videos, monitoring, drones, and Reality Capture solutions.
